We usually work with companies in the following 4 options:

Database Conversion

This is the most popular and easiest to schedule. The client company decides to convert a block of data ( legacy, areas of interest ) and commits a budget that completes the project over time/months/years. We are happy to work out a schedule that meets your budget and timeframe. This option allows you to move priority data to the top of the queue when needed/required.

Data Conversion on Demand

This option allows you a set number of hours/dollars per month. There is less scheduling since it is more on demand. It results in not quite as much data being converted per hour but it is generally highly visible data and needed for strategic business decisions.

Data Sharing

This option is used when several partners need to share common legacy data so that a better business decision can be reached. Sharing of data among partners using data that can be text/word searchable provides an immediate impact.

Knowledge Management

The final regular option allows for sharing of legacy knowledge so that the loss/retirement of individuals can be minimized. Reports/papers that they have prepared/written can be converted and shared with their replacements. Generally this is budgeted with so many dollars/hours per month and is usually scheduled in a manner similar to option 1.
